Vacancy Diesel Mechanic
Harbour Reefer Service specializes in maintenance, repair and renovation of the machinery of refrigerated containers (reefers) and diesel driven generators (gensets). Harbour Reefer Service carries out this work for several large shipping companies at two locations in Rotterdam and a location in Antwerp.
At our location in Rotterdam we have a fully equipped workshop where we maintain and repair the gensets. These gensets are used as a power supply for the cooling containers. We work on various models of different brands, both used and new.
To expand our team we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic diesel mechanic. The ideal candidate is a versatile specialist in diesel technology with experience in maintenance and repair of diesel driven generators. You will join our current team of reefer technicians who work together and for each other. There is a real Rotterdam mentality and a positive working atmosphere at our company. We roll up our sleeves and work hard. As a team we tackle all challenges that come our way.
Your job description:
- You carry out maintenance and repairs.
- You make diagnoses in case of malfunctions.
- You keep track of the administration associated with your tasks.
- You take care of the order and cleanliness in the workshop.
- You occasionally work on special projects.
The job requirements:
- You have completed a training in motor vehicle technology at MBO-3 level.
- You have several years of work experience with maintenance and repair of diesel driven generators.
- You have a flexible attitude and a real work mentality.
- You are able to do your work both independently and within a team.
- You like to occasionally work on special projects.
- You master the English language in word and writing.
